Element failed. This happens to all elements over time. There is no way to fix it. You will need to replace the part.

Overheat Stat tripped. This usually happens when the water level is low in the cylinder. Try topping it back up and resetting it. If your water level is fine but the problem persists, it may need replacing.

Contactor has become faulty. This does happen on some occasions. This is a part that cannot be repaired and requires replacing.

Supply issue. Sometimes the fuse or MCB trip and go unchecked. This may simply need replacing or resetting. If this is not the case then it could be the switched spur has become faulty.

Plated heat exchanger blocked. If this becomes blocked it will not allow heat to be transferred. If your pump is receiving the right voltage and spinning, check if the water is hot. If the water is hot then most likely the PHE is blocked. We would recommend this be check by a qualified engineer.

Low water level. If the water level goes below a certain amount the unit does not allow a supply to the elements as it could damage the system. Simply fill this up. If the problem persists then the sensor could be faulty.

Mixing valve failed. The system could all be working correctly. If cold water is coming out of all taps and showers then most likely the mixing valve has failed.

Unit is off. Leaving the on / off peak supply on while the main unit is off will not allow the system to heat. You must have the main unit on when heating the system.
